So here lately God has really been teaching me that he is always near. So much of the time we worship him, we read our bible and pray, just like we are suppose to do but when everything in life starts falling apart and the heat of the battle is raging, that's when we start to run weary. That's when we feel like God is not there and that he doesn't care because of the things were going through. We feel like giving up and feel like we don't have the strength to carry on. We have a hard time trusting in God. But no matter how hard life gets, God is ALWAYS there.
I can definitely testify that. Here lately I have been going through my own things in life, I felt like everything was falling apart before my eyes. I wanted to give up and quite honestly I wanted to be done with life altogether. I felt like I couldn't take what I was taking. It was hard for me to do anything, I felt like I couldn't worship or pray. I just felt stuck. Usually people know me by my passion and fire for God, but I just wasn't having it. My heart was broken. The enemy really was trying to keep me bound. But I cried out to God and asked him to help me move forward, to help me get out of the place I was at.I had to raise up into who God has called me to be, God hasn't called us to sit there and have our pitty party. I had to move forward. God showed himself faithful to me. Draw near to God and he WILL draw near to you. Now am I saying that I was completely better? No, but God gave me the strength to start moving forward. God is still healing my heart but I have the courage to say that God has began to do a work in me. Isaiah 57:15 says, I give new life to those who are humble and to those whose hearts are broken. So humble yourself in the Lord, he is the healer to the broken hearted. Think about it, how many times has God saved you and you didn't even notice it? Or give him credit for it? God is always faithful, and if he came through for you than, than he will come through for you time after time again. Often times when we are in the heat of the battle we feel like God isn't going to come through for us on our behalf. But he ALWAYS does. I stand amazed at God's grace. He always takes us by the hand and loves us like no one else can. He's an awesome God. If your one of those who feel like they're stuck and can't move forward let me encourage you that you can!! Keep moving forward, continue to press into God. He always comes through. Psalm 40:2- I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put there trust in the LORD.
So when you feel weak and like you don't have the strength to carry on, know that God IS with you and he IS in control! No matter what your going through the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you, no matter how hard the waves come, God IS faithful and in control and he loves you more than you could ever imagine!!! Keep trusting in the Lord!
Psalm 46:1-7 God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with there surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the most high dwells. GOD IS WITHIN HER, SHE WILL NOT FALL; GOD WILL HELP HER AT BREAK OF DAY. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS WITH US; THE GOD OF JACOB IS OUR FORTRESS.
